Playing Old Commodore 64 Games on Vista

Hey everybody. I am new here and this is my first post. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am trying to run old computer games on my laptop, possibly even some games as old as those designed for the Commodore 64. I am definitely willing to try my best to reciprocate and help other users with issues in return. Thanks!
