I would try using the Emulator DesmuME, it is alot more up to date, No$GBA hasn't been updated since 2008.

I tried playing both versions on No$Gba both didn't work very well (with the gameshark codes).
i highly reccomend playing the games on DeSmuMe.Desmume is now up to date. And is even faster.

If you have a older pc with a pentium IV,or some other old processor. These are the best settings:
    Set frameskip to 2.
    enable SoftRasterizer.
enable the lowest quality on sound settings.
Don't use firmware (it slows down emulation).
and you will get around 50 FPS.
    if you have a Pentium D,Core2Duo,Core2quad,core i3,core i5,core i7.
just leave the settings as they were.

    it doesn't work......
i tried to load soul silver and it's working.
but when i try to do it with black/white it's show to me a white screen.
(with desmume_dev, he just can't read it, it says that the specified file is not a valid rom).

    oh god why........

That's strange. With me it works.Try to extract the rom if it's zipped, then try again.
