Default Please help with my gpSP problem!

Hi, I'm running UO gpSP 3.4 test 3 build 92. My PSP is a GO model with PRO B10 LCFW. Until recently the emulator was running my Pokemon Emerald rom fine, but now when I am playing, the menu may come up on its own, and when I close the menu, the whole system turns off. Trying the emulator again, the recorded save file available was not my latest one. I have since tried overwriting the save game successfully, but when the shutdown problem repeats, the save file is always the original outdated version, so even if I try to advance the game, I will be back to square one when the problem comes back.

I'm really not sure what's wrong. I was messing around with action replay codes so that might have something to do with it, but I have removed the codes from my memory and the problem persists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update- I transferred another copy of the same emulator onto my PSP and copied my roms, save files and ctg files from the last emulator. But the problem hasn't gone away, and after awhile the same thing happened- the menu screen came up and the PSP shut down. When I retry the emulator the only available save file was more recent than the first one I reported, but is by no means my most up to date save.

Worryingly, this seemed to happen on a regular game I bought from PSN (Dissidia 012)- the screen went blank and the system shut down!

Does this mean it could be something to do with my LCFW?

It's been a while, and my most recent course of action had been to attempt to clear my PSP Go of all custom firmware related files, i.e. the firmware, plugins for WOTL and the GBA emulator. But this hasn't stopped the problem. The screen has gone black before shutting down the system, once when scrolling through the XMB and once when playing Dissidia 012.

Now I'm paranoid that I've caused some permanent damage to my system (I should never have been tempted by those fancy digital pirates!!). These are how the folders currently appear on my PSP via PC, in case anyone can spot any custom firmware-related folders I haven't deleted:
    BOOK
    MEDIAGO
    MLN_ROOT
    MP_ROOT
    MUSIC
    OTHER
    PICTURE
    PSP
    VIDEO

    Inside the PSP folder:
    APP
    COMMON
    GAME
    LICENSE
    MUSIC
    PHOTO
    PLAYLIST
    RADIOPLAYER
    RSSCH
    SAVEDATA
    SCREENSHOT
    SHOUTcast
    SYSTEM
    THEME

I could really use some advice, as this problem can be very irritating.
