I removed the link of the channel page from the main site a couple of months ago: http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/chat/

If you want to use the channel go ahead and use it.

When it was around, it was quite dead. I'm sure Lefteris and Waz can testify to that. Very very few people around here use IRC, anyway. If you are reopening the chan, I'd propose using Rizon or IRCHighway, since there seem to be a large group that already use that server.
