Super Mario 74 Koopa The Cheater

Every time I try to get the star Koopa turns to the left and gets stuck.

My son really wants to beat this game. But the glitch us from it. I have restarted many times and still glitch. Any one else ever figured out a solution?

I have repatched the rom three times. I even fount three sources to down load the rom prepatched. And yes I set the emulator right PJ64 version 1.6

OK, first off, please use proper English. I mean, it's in the forum rules. Secondly, this appears to be a bug in the hack, but I might be wrong. Try it on Mupen64plus, see if that works.

i am currently having this problem as well, Koopa runs into the lake and progressively slows down to a near halt. i remember trying this once and leaving when i saw how it was supposed to work, but now i cant complete it now that i feel i have it down. im using Mupen++ to play the rom, since thats the only thing i can currently get to run it. any help?

nevermind, i realized i didnt reset the emulation and it fixed the issue, my bad
