whenever i load final fantasy tactics it shows the sony screen then the squaresoft screen then it goes to the main title and doesnt let me move up and down or select anything, and i get this loud dundun noise repeating, ive tried everything i can think of, oh ive only tried one other game which was legend of dragoon, and it worked fine.
if anyone could provide some insight id appreciate it, i use the pcsx emulator for my mac

Hmm. I do not know the answer to this but I have a similar problem. On the N64 Pokemon Stadium it does not let me move up down left or right to choose stuff. Only lets me press A on what its selected by default..

I'm not too sure what the problem might be, but try to change your controller setting. While this is a bit odd that it works on other games just fine, try to get a gamepad and hook it up with the PCSX. I had some problems with controls myself, but then I hooked my PS3 control up with my PC and it worked like a dream.
