Oh man, my favorite is Chrono Cross! So beautiful, and for the limited specs of the Playstation!?!? Too insane. A close second would be SD Gundam Battle Assault 2, I love using GUNDAM HAMMER! Grrrr! lol.

For me the best of all, it is unsurpassed Spyro the Dragon (Episode 1, 2 and 3), but also very beautiful Tomb Raider (the first few episodes)

xenogears ftw... the cg in that game looks like manga... not to mention the storyline was incredible and extremely fun.
think ff7 meets gundam wing.
