Exclamation A Few Paranoid Questions about game discs

This might sound stupid, so sorry if it does.
    1. Does putting a PS1 game in a computer, then playing it with psxfin damage anything?
    2. Does putting a Wii game in a computer, and looking through the files damage anything? (Yeah i know this isn't playstation)
    3. Does playing an actual copy of Spyro 3 (USA version) with psxfin mess up anything? Specifically the copy protection?
    Thanks in advance.

Playstation 1 disks are regular CD's, you won't have any damage. Wii disks on the other hand are special and made for Nintendo. Though you will cause no damage, your PC won't be able to read them.

that's good to hear, but are you absolutely sure that Spyro 3's copy protection won't be triggered if I go to play it? (Like if I went and played it in an actual Playstation)

Dude what are you talking about?

    1) NO PSX GAME WILL HURT YOUR COMPUTER! If it did they would be sewed to high heaven.
    2) No data on a CD can change, its written only once ( at the factory ).

Like if I went and played it in an actual Playstation
Did it work before? then it will work again... See 2)
copy protection won't be triggered if I go to play it?
Triggered where? A PSX disc can not trigger anything on your computer. See 1), also it wont do anything on the PSX it didnt do before see 2)

    all right, cool.
BTW, did you know that you can put some ps1 games in your CD player, and it will play music from the game? Wikipedia has a list one which ones do this. (It's not complete though; Namco Museum Vol 1 works)

right there are two types of PSX disc, the ones that have XA audio and there others that use a data file. XA files will play on most CD players as well.
