Default Analog sticks not working on ePSXe

Ok, so I am running the latest version of ePSXe (1.7), and my gamepad is a Logitech F310, seen here:

I've configured the gamepad, and ePSXe recognized the sticks (reacts when I configure it to have the dual analog), but when I run a game, it still uses the D-Pad for movement, and the sticks don't seem to do anything in-game.

am I doing something wrong? When setting them up...this is what my screen looks like:

Do the settings for the two analog sticks look correct, or do I need to change something?

    Thanks for any help!

It looks correct, I had another guy with the same problem and I told him to hit the "mode" button( on the controller ). He said that did the trick.

Why don't you use your keyboard? because it looks easier and controller is just an optional device. But sure, using keyboard is more tricky than using analog stick.
