    Hello Jon M,

Trying those settings should not have deleted any files from your computer. Did you use a save state in gens? That maybe the problem or corrupt save in the emulator. And about the E}I{'s GPU Plugin 0.981 not going fullscreen where you in fullscreen or windows mode if
your were in windows mode try ALT+Enter to switch to fullscreen.

Finally about E}I{'s GPU Plugin 0.981 " still glitch with the cursor in battle, and no battle swirl" as i stated before as far as the cursor blob on FF7 and the garbage on FMV's we would have to get the author of the plugin to fix it and i think no one was heard from him in years i think.

The problem with the plugin it is incomplete.

Then this plugin will not be a valid solution to getting this to run the correct way so do you possibly have any other suggestions on fixes or other plugins that I haven't tried?

I'm not sure what happened with the Gens issue but the only thing that could have caused it was opening another emulator. That's literally the only thing that I did between reopening Gens. I wasn't using a save state, I just saved in game, and when I restart the game, my save file in game is always there. Anyhow, I've went ahead and started from an old save state and got passed where I was. I'm just extra careful with my saves now and do a save state every now and then just encase this happens again...

Wow... This morning while browsing my PS3 I saw an add for PSone Classics downloadable on my PS3. FFVII, 10$. I must be dreaming. I've been talking about them releasing this game for the new consoles for years. Well, PROBLEM SOLVED.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll remove PSX so I don't have to worry about my Phantasy Star save getting deleted again. FFVII on the PS3. Done deal.

Although you appear happy with your classics download, I have a solution for the issue which may apply to yourself for future use of psx gaming. Perhaps also for others reading this thread with similar issues. My problem was exactly the same as yours, with the battle box not showing right.

An emu that you may have missed works very well with everything I've played on it. I think this is because it doesnt use any plugins or whatnot. It runs perfectly smooth as well, something epsxe doesnt do for me either, perhaps due to my temporary crappy setup (core 2 duo and 4gb ram but ONBOARD graphics...sigh). I'd just forgotten about it when going back for psx emulation last week and had played 30 choppy hours of Legend of Dragoon already...

I use that emulator the most for PSX, Its basically my go to for all my psx. The only game I play on espxe is Gundam Battle Assault 2. While pSX is overall the best, I sometimes find it sad that I can't have a higher resolution and graphics quality while emulating.

Hi! I love the game and after losing my CD's tried to play it on my Pc but the same problems ocurred, also in the sheep dog n' wolf game the star menu won't show up.
After trying some GPU plugins the P.E.Op.S Soft GPU fixed both problems, the only feedback is a softer resolution when playing but besides that everything was fine and the game was smooth. Hope it helps!
