Final Fantasy I NES, most emulators except NEStopia

Hey everybody

I have this problem with the first Final Fantasy game for NES. On most emulators I've tried, sometimes when I'm walking the screen will flash light and dark really quick, you can see it on the tiles on the floor. On NEStopia, though, it will sometimes just stutter for a moment then keep going, but it never flickers like the other emulators. But the sound cracks sometimes on NEStopia which is kind of annoying.

Just wondering if the flicker is normal for the game, or if there's a fix? Would anyone be able to see if it does it on their PC? I get it when I go into the castle right at the start of the game.
