Problem Solved! - Switching From Disk1 to Disk2 - Lunar Silver Star Complete
Hi there... I've been playing Lunar Silver Star Complete with my ePSXe1.7.0 and I've gotten to the last part of the first disk where they show the video of them going towards the grindery. Once it fades to black there it stops... I don't get a 'please switch disks' or anything... it just freezes. I tried changing disks anyway and that does nothing.
I tried getting a new save game file for disk 2 but it isn't compatible and I can't find any converter that I can get to work for me... course maybe I'm just an idiot or something... I tried a couple of other emulators hoping maybe they would work for me but they wont take the ePSXe save files or the gme. file I have for disk 2.
I'm getting frustrated... I just want to finish playing the game ><
PROBLEM FIXED!!!!
I finally... finally... managed to get it working... I changed my configurations a bit... I put offscreen drawing to 3-4 and that seemed to get me through to the change disk screen... then I couldn't change disks with ePSXe so I managed to find an emulator that would work with my save games, finally, I got pcsxr - PCSX-Reloaded and though it didn't work as well as ePSXe, specially the sound, I managed to use it to switch disks by bringing my memcards from ePSXe to PCSXR then after saving at the beginning of disk 2 I brought the save game back to ePSXe and was able to play it on disk 2. =)
