Default Gamecube Emulator Problem will i meet the specs required

i already know that my pc isnt good enough to run the dolphin emulator what i need help with is figuring out what i need to buy to upgrade my pc

my current pc stats are these:
32bit,2.80GHz,2.00GB of RAM, a terrible graphics card and im running windows XP

i want to buy this graphics card:
Graphics Processor ATI Radeon HD 5450
    Exchange Interface Memory/Processor 64-bit
    Processor Frequency 650 MHz
    Rendering Pipelines 80 processing cores
    Bus PCI Express 2.1
    Memory 1024 MB DDR3
DirectX 3D Hardware DirectX? 11 support
    Memory Frequency 800 MHz
    OpenGL OpenGL 3.2 support
    Outputs HDMI, DVI, VGA
System Requirements PCI Express? based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard
    Minimum 1GB of system memory

With this upgrade i have 3 questions
    1-will the emulator work now
2-if it can work now will it run slowly
3-if one of the answeres to my questions are NO then what can i do
    please help me
    THANKS

It depends, before you get the new GPU, I suggest getting more RAM (3-4 Gig atleast), making sure you're CPU won't bottleneck and checking if you're motherboard can run the PCI GPU (if its old it may only use AGP).

Now onto the Emulator, the CPU is more inportant than the GPU in this case. If the CPU is more than 4 years old than you may need to upgrade, if you can post all you're specs, it will help quite a bit.

The answer is yes. I have the same set up and it works better than i ever expected. It looks so clean and runs like i need it to. Now i can take double dash anywhere my laptop goes.

If your processor isn't core2duo or pentium D.That graphics will be just a bottle neck.which means it is a too powerful graphics card for your processor (i assume it's a pentium 4).
Consider upgrading your processor. Then it will work perfectly.
