Default Could be Game Problem: Missing Textures Skipping Sound

I am using Mupen64plus running Linux Mint KDE.

    Problem

Missing textures (Missing bad guy, purple color were game textures should be)
    Some what on Mario 64
Some what on Star Wars EP1 Racer
    Bad on Toy Story 2

Sound skips, keeps on soundtrack but just pulses.
    Super Mario 64.

    --------------
Are there any alternatives then Mupen64plus? I am using Linux...

The computer played Oblivion On Windows XP just fine....

On the laptop Mario 64 plays just about perfect accept for the sound issue, it does the exact same thing on the Gaming computer. I am guessing a setting maybe in Mupen...

What you could try is the original Mupen64 then, if you've done some research you will find that it was originally coded for Linux, You can download it here.
