i downloaded crash team racing and tried running it on my epsxe version 1.7.0.
when it starts, the 'Sony computer entertainment' screen appears and voices are played but nothing else happens after that. i am also sure that the voices were not meant to be played at that time. i have uploaded a video as unlisted on youtube showing exactly what happens.

This is how epsxe 1.7.0 is configured on my computer.
BIOS: scph1001 - USA

Video: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.18

Sound: P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.9
-mode: 1) High Compatibility mode
-reverb: 2) PSX reverb
-interpolation: 2) Gaussion interpolation
-Enable XA playing
-Change XA speed, if it is played to fast

any way i can fix this problem and play it?

Yes, try not to post your ROM source, we try to keep this forum away from the technicalities of lawsuit. :)
