cant use any DS emulator

i tried tons of DS emulators and every one of themm, when i double click him or try to open the game (each emulator is different), writes me this:
1) "last error code 0000007B"
2) the title is: "unable to set directory" and then the next thing is :"D\mydocuments\????\the name of the emulator"
3) same as 2
4) title is " name of the emulator - FATAL and next things it says is "unexpected error"

I HAVE WIN 7 AND I D ONT WHAT TO DO?!

Post your computer specifications please.

try this setup -

-Download the emulator
-Extract it onto your desktop (i recommend winrar opposed to 7zip)
-Create a new folder
-put the files in there and run the emulator
-make a roms folder in there too and load your roms from it

This should be straight forward and a path issue should be avoided.
