Wat emu runs metal slug 4 and 5 ?

Any multiple arcade emulators or MAME would play those game fine. B)

NeoRageX, MAME, FBA, Nebula, Kawaks........ you named it. But one problem, you had to compile or edit to make those games playable.

I have a hacked NeoRAGEx v4.8 emulator which is supposed to be able to play Metal Slug 5, but I get the same messed up graphics that the normal NeoRAGEx does. Also, although Metal Slug 5 is listed in v4.8, when imported into the gamelist it doesn't highlight. Instead, the game appears at the bottom of the list.

Could someone please tell me how to edit the roms to work (if possible).

NeoRageX cannot be edited as you need to hack/reprogram it. B)

Could possibly that your Metal Slug 5 rom is a bad dump. (Not a properly emulated fully, need to be patched or something, as you mentioned both original NeoRageX and hacked NeoRageX have the same result.)

Do you know of any patches that fix these graphics errors? Also, is there a goodname tool or something that could scan this romset to verify if it's a good dump?

Will check on the latest romsets for MS4 and MS5, and tell you later..... B)

MAME only play Metal Slug 4 and Metal Slug 5 if you recompile it.
