Smile Metal gear solid runs really slow

    Hello to all !

As you can see i'm new here and english is not my native language so i'll try not to sound too newbie

Ok, so i got PCSX2, and i got my Metal gear solid 3 (1 and 2 was AWESOME!)

The problem is that everything apart from the start menu runs really slow, unbearably slow even..
the sound of the game is in "slow motion" the game is heavily lagging and it's almost impossible to play..
i think it may be the pc so i'll give you the details of my pc and also of the configurations of the emulator:

    PC:
    CPU Type - AMD Athlon 64, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3000+
    RAM memory - 1500MB RAM DDR \ 1.5GB
Video Card - ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series (512 MB)
    Windows XP 32bit

    Emulator configs:
    i did a Print-screen-shot of the configs
    here's the links:

i tried messing with the "speed-hacks", when they are on it's slightly better about 10fps up.

Can someone please tell me what the problem is ?
is it my hardware (CPU) or some configuration issue ?

For PCSX2 your processor is too slow, you don't have enough ram and you're running onboard video.

Even with a really good PC lots of things don't work properly with PCSX2 purely because the emulation isn't complete (or even that good TBH as it appears to use loads of hacks).
PS2's and PS2 games are really cheap secondhand. In all honesty for the time being the best way to play PS2 games is to buy a cheap secondhand PS2.
