no$gba saves

i have no$gba v 2.6a and im trying to play soul silver on here and it runs fine for like an hour and then it randomly freezes which i know is a common problem and my problem is i forget to save a lot so is it possible to set up no$gba to auto save at set intervals on a save state??

I don't think that option is available for no$gba. But other emulator like DeSmuME have save state option.
