Post your pictures and share them with us. Post your drawings, 3D models, screenshots... anything you want. NO PORN PLEASE!!!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Post your picture by making a LINK to your picture. You can upload it >>HERE<< (2 MB max). Do not post the pictures directly in this forum. All pictures must be in a compressed format (JPG, GIF or PNG are the best choices. I do not recommend BMP).

I've heard that the same tool I used to create this world is the same one that some PlayStation 2 and GameCube game developers use. :P
So what, it still looks crap. <_<

Let me tell you why this isn't very good.

1) The texture is stretched horribly. You shouldn't be forced to look at distorted crap stretched across a landscape.
2) It's just a height map. There is no artistic expression there. It's a damned height map.
3) The polygon count is low. You can see that by looking at the curve of the mountain things.
4) The sky is just a gradient.
5) Lens flares, unless done very well, are trite and horrible.
6) The hills look perfectly smooth. You didn't even bother with a bump map. This image would look a hundred times better if you applied a shader, some noise. anything.

You've managed to raytrace an image which looks like it was created in realtime.

He didn't actually make the textures or did much, since he used a terragen like software. Proberlly mojoworld, which means hes using a pikey full version.

Well, That was the fastest picture I could do. It took me about 20 minutes. By the way, It's not a terragen program.

By the way, it's not necessary to have artistical meaning...

Well, since I have never played that game, it's a good fanart. If I only had a scanner, I'd post my Reinhardt Schneider fanart... :P
