FFIX on ePSXe not running well, please help!

The game itself seems to run ok, but everytime I enter a battle is gets real choppy with the animation and the sound. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this, its really irritating

If you need my com specs here they are: Intel Celeron Precessor 420, Invidia GeForce 7050 graphics card. Pretty basic setup no aftermarket stuff. Thanks

Hey guys, I finally got the game running really well but now i have a different issue. Right after the first time your in the town of Dali and your about to leave on the cargo ship, with the animation starts when the ship is taking off the game freezes and can't get past that point. What do i do?!

Try using the old version of ePSXe, like 1.52 or other PS emulators.
