How to access my Xbox HDD?

I recently got an Xbox (not 360) and I thought that I would be able to hook it up to my router and gain access to the contents of the hard drive. Well, no such luck yet.

Is it possible and if so how can I accomplish that? (The Xbox is modded and I run W7 on my comp if that helps...)

Really? There are no former (or current) Xbox users here that have not used their Xbox in a network? I find that hard to believe, so I'll hold out for an answer a couple more days. This forum has never let me down before!

I remember there was a way to do it. You might want to try http://www.xbox-scene.com as it had many good guides.
