Yeah, most web sites are just copies of others. It's a great idea to get inspiration and nick all the best ideas from top sites.

and others have a large variety of things that you can notice.
So browse around and you'll be there in no time.
Also, if you're going to use gradients, play around in a decent graphics program and make them look nice (less linear).
Just make sure you don't look at EZ for spelling guidance, har har !
