Fusion emulator: customize conrols/hotkeys

I am wanting to change/remap my Save State/Load State inputs from the keyboard settings (F5 and F8 respectively) to my SmartJoy PS2 controller (to L2 and R2). I don't see anywhere in the Fusion's "Configuration Settings" file where I can do this. Can someone help and guide me where to go/what to do, or if it's even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use an input converter like Xpadder or Joy2Key. You can set up a profile so that your joypad buttons send the F5 and F8 keyboard commands.
