i can't quite figure this stuff out. please help.

the thing is, i'm good with computers, i just don't know windows 7 well, as i am now using it for the first time, and i've never screwed around with emulating before. all i want to do is download an emulator, download my favorite game from when i was a kid, Tomba, and play it. but i've spent all afternoon following every set of instructions i can find, and none of it makes any sense right now, something keeps screwing up. please, someone help me play Tomba before i lose my mind and smash my roommates laptop. please.

Well first I don't know whats screwing up, so give more details? Is it not loading or crashing,missing a file what? Come Back Again! I have windows 7 and mine run's good. If you good with computers get a SS= screemshot and post here.
