Default Accessing tabs once game started to change discs

    Hi Emu-Zone,
I keep reading threads here and on ngemu saying things like that you can access the 'File' tab to change discs for games like Final Fantasy VII. How do you do it? I've tried ePSXe and PCSX (I prefer PCSX, since it works better on my Windows XP computer). Do the plugins count in this case? And does the F9-F10 functions of simulating open/close disc drive have a role? I've tried Ctrl+F and that doesn't work, at least for me.

For the FF games there's always a save point right before the disk switch. I usually save at that point, then reset the emulator, boot the next disk and start from the same save point.

When you say 'reset', does that you mean you fully quit the emulator (as in Alt+F4) and then start it up again? And do you mean a save state or an actual in-game save point that saves to the memory card? I haven't got that far into the game and am not familiar with the process.

Yes I close and restart and I'm talking about an in-game save point not a save state.

Does it matter if I'm using bin files?

No, the disc media makes no difference.

Thanks for replying. I'll post if I encounter a problem.
