    If you are using VBA you can either:

    • Go into Options > Emulator > Save Type > Flash 128k
    • Create a text file called vba-over.ini and within it add the following:

      e-Reader (U)
      [PSAE]
      flashSize=131072

      Pokemon Ruby (U)
      [AXVE]
      rtcEnabled=1
      flashSize=131072

      Pokemon Sapphire (U)
      [AXPE]
      rtcEnabled=1
      flashSize=131072

      Pokemon FireRed (U)
      [BPRE]
      flashSize=131072

      Pokemon LeafGreen (U)
      [BPGE]
      flashSize=131072

      Pokemon Emerald (U)
      [BPEE]
      rtcEnabled=1
      flashSize=131072

    The second method will only affect the games mentioned there (they need the settings detailed above), whereas the first method is simpler but may affect other games that use a 64k flash memory. I'm not sure on settings in other emulators but the basic idea is that Pokemon games need 128k of flash memory not 64 like emulators seem to think.

    Which method did you try, creating the vba-over.ini file or doing it through the GUI menus?
