Trading in Pokemon Games

Okay, so I'm hoping not to sound stupid for asking this, but is it possible to trade Pokemon off of an emulator and onto a gameboy Pokemon console? I hope so, because I'm trying to get a MewTwo for my friend for his game.

If you want to trade pokemons between an emulator on a PC and a normal (legal, store bought) Pokemon cartridge then I doubt that's possible.

If you're using an R4 or similiar cartridge in your gameboy (that allows you to use ROMs on a real gameboy/DS) then it's probably doable using some kind of save game file conversion. But that's just the theory; I have never tried anything like that so I can't help you with specific instructions on what to do.
