    Default ISO Query

Im really new to emulating, but thought id see if i could capture the good old days of PS1 via my PC.I notice a lot of games can be downloaded in ISO format which i gather is an image made from a CD.The query is, what exactly do i do with the ISO file, do i have to open it using maybe Power iso, or do i just copy the ISO into the emulator folder or even burn the ISO image onto a CD (When i say burn i mean open and burn the files in the ISO, not the single ISO file).Do ISO files have to be opened before they can be read and i noticed with a game i have that the main ISO once opened has more iso files inside, do i open these too or just the main file.Hope someone can help without ripping my head off for being new.

Use Winrar to unpack the ISO. You'll then have an ISO disk image.

Once you've chosen the emulator you're going to use (I would recommend PSX for a new user - no real setting up required), make sure you have the PS1 bios file 'schp1001' placed in the emulators bios folder.
Just start the emulator, go to the file menu from the toolbar and select load ISO.

    Easy as that really.
