Default Gens Vsync screen flickering issue!

    Hi Guys

I'm running Gens on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with Windows 7 and I'm trying to get a good quality picture when playing full screen. With V sync off the screen tear is unbearable but with it on I'm getting a screen flicker (where the screen goes black for a split second) every few seconds.

Is there any way around this or is the in-built graphics card just not up to the job?

    Thanks

Try Kega Fusion 3.34 I gave it to 3 people that I know with Laptops and they told me it works really good.

This works much better, thanks! I wonder why Gens does this - I always thought it was the best emulator!

Yea I get the same problem aswell from all versions of Gens available from this site including the new surreal Gens. It runs fine in windowed mode but if i put it in fullscreen the screen flickers once every 1 second or so (its not totally game breaking but still bad non the less). But if i turn on V-Sync the whole screen becomes a mess wit the whole screen blinking and flashing rapidly.

Ive swapped to Fusion but I do hope a new version of Gens is made which fixes the problem
