    Default emulator problems

I am very new to emulators. I downloaded a new legend of zelda: ocarina of time ROM and i've been looking for a good N64 emulator that is compatible with vista. I tried several like project 64 1.6, ultrahle, and trwin, and as soon as i open them there will be endless blank internet explorer pages popping up on the screen that stack up and cause the computer to run slowly untill it doesn't work and plus when there popping up you cannot access other programs. i don't know what to do and if anybody has any suggestions if this has happened to them or if they know how to fix it please respond.

Sounds like your PC has picked up an infection, shouldn't be opening browser windows when you try to run an emulator. One or possibly all of the downloads (or something else you've Dl'd) seems to be infected with something nasty. Run a thorough AV scan and also run Hijack This and Malware Bytes, see what turns up.

    Hi!
I' sorry, I know it may be not topic for my question, but I can't create topic yet and I'd really appreciate any help.
I have been using ideas1039 and it worked just fine, but one day it just broke down and I can't fix it since then. When I try to run it, it says "IDeas emulator has stopped working and must be shut down." How can I fix it?
I'm afraid I'll loose all my saves.

Download new IDeaS emulator and copy your Save/Battery folder into the new one. U will get your saves back and the new 1 should work.

And about the 1st post. Looks like your PC is infected. Use a good antivirus to clean it and then try running roms

The program can't start because VCOMP100.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

To fix your popping up problem Press Alt + Enter or Esc.
Play with your settings, you might want to use a different plugin or something...I haven't used that emulator in so long because of the few Good Titles, but I've been watching Evanglion so I'm might get it.
