Questions about kof2003....

Hi. Does anybody know how big this game is supposed to be? I'm currently missing 11 files and neomame refuses play it until I have them all. Right now it's total size is 39.5 mb o.O but somehow u guys were able to play it with only 32 mb... How are you able to play this game with that many missing files?? Kof2000 is 79 mb so shouldn't kof2003 be about that size or bigger?

Try renaming the files:
271-p1bl.bin = 271-p1
271-p2bl.bin = 271-p2
etc


The 32mb version has to be a NeoRageX version.

Ok. Just tried it and.. of course it didn't work. It's still telling me that those files are missing. Can this emu (neomame) even play kof2003? It's got the game listed in it's directory.

All I want to know is how big it's supposed to be.

That 79MB rom zipped is a fully encrypted as it was dumped originally from the arcade board. And that 39.5MB rom is decrypted rom where most of them can be hacked easily.

Also, can you posted it all the src's that your kof2003 files are? (If necessary.) B)

"Neomame32k - By Jimpy" supports kof 94 through 2004 as well as SNK vs Capcom: Chaos and some others.

I've got most of it figured out now. I do in fact have every file needed to play kof 2003 on Neomame32k but it won't read the files within the zip kof2003b becasue they are in ROM format... All I need to do is find a way to convert those into BIN files and it will work. Does anybody know how this is done?

I managed to convert one of them into two different BIN files but Neomame says that it's CRC code is the wrong lenght.

Any help of suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also what's the name of that modified verion of neoragex which comes bundled with kof2003?

So all of your KOF2003 files can detected except that one?

As for the modified NeoRageX, it can be any name as many people hacked the old NGX into their own version. So, you have to search for it by luck.

Well. Time to check my KOF2003, if all are the same as mentioned above. :P

No all of them cannot be detected because they are in ROM format but I&#39;ve managed to find and run a patch which converted all but two of those ROM files into their correct BIN file formats&#33; I was also able to find an run three patches which fixed the infinite graphics problem and some other errors&#33; But I still cannot play this game on Neo Mame 32kv1.0 until I have these two files properly converted into their BIN formats.

....I found a website with the whole kof2003 rom not the bootleg and theyre all BIN files.. and just about any other rom out... I&#39;ve already downloaded SNK vs Capcom (svcchaos.zip 39.85 mb)..
