The music keeps on skipping??

When I'm playing a game on the ePSXe, the music skips, but the game itself is fine. What should I do?

This could be a slow computer trying to keep up. Make have to sync to sound.


Hard to say , lets here some specs? Iso, CD, what are your plugins, what computer specs?

I'm using ISO, and the plug ins are the ones given in the "How to setup the ePSXe guide" in this forum....I found a plug-in that's better to use if your using ISO, and it worked. Sort of. >_<; Now everytime I get into battle, or leave to a different area [I'm playing Chrono Cross] the music skips and it freezes for a small, brief moment. Then it goes back to normal.

Chrono Cross is extremely playable (in all but one part), so it's probably your computer being slow.

This could be due to several reasons but what I feels is that you computer is slow and your computer specifications didn't meet the game requirements...!!!

Tweak settings in the audio plugin.

Also, Eternal SPU Plugin 1.50 is the best you can do for ePSXe sound plugins. Recommend that one.
