Trying to run Epsxe on my windows vista computer need help plz.

So basically what happens is i start up the game in this case spryo 3. It starts, its a black screen and there is some sounds but its extremely choppy. Im wondering whats the best setup for windows vista cause I had a windows 98 desktop with only 256mb of ram running every game i throw at it almost perfectly. So im sure its something with my settings. What plugins does everyone recommend and some settings? I have 2gb of ram and an intel pentium processor honestly im not sure what graphics card I have. Thanks to anyone that could give me some help.

nvm just figured it out, i have video now, no voices during the cutscene still trying to figure that one out .
