Requirements

nemulator 2.0 uses DirectX 10, therefore Windows Vista or Windows 7 is required. If you receive an error message stating that d3dx10_33.dll is missing, please download the latest DirectX 10 update from Microsoft at microsoft.com.

You need a lot of horsepower (probably a dual-CPU/core system) to run the menu at full speed.

Known issues

* Most North American cartridges are supported... many foreign/unlicensed/pirate carts are not. Carts with corrupt headers may cause nemulator to crash.
* To ensure the smoothest graphics, nemulator dynamically adjusts the audio playback rate to stay in sync with the video refresh rate. Most emulators lock the audio playback rate which can lead to stuttering/tearing of the display (when scrolling, for example). Resampling audio on the fly can be tricky, though... feedback on how well this works for you is appreciated.
* nemulator assumes a monitor refresh rate of 60Hz (the setting for most LCD monitors). Other values can cause audio/video problems.
* Analog joysticks are not currently supported.
* Options, including key assignments, are not configurable through nemulator's interface. If you need to change something, modify nemulator.ini.

Beta software

This is unsupported beta software with a ton of bugs and/or missing features. I hope it works for you; if it doesn't, feel free to request assistance via the contact page, but I can't guarantee a response.
