    Default Metroid...original

    having problems on original metroid...cannot duck/squat or roll on ground..control from keyboard...Im new to emulator use and would really appreciate some help

    name the emulator. Metroid works with all I have tested. I think its your key assignments. Maybe you used a block key? Try another.. And you should only be able to duck until you get the morphing ball

    You need the Maru Mari (Morphing Ball)

    Once you begin the game, go left and jump over the
    large rocky terrain to find the Morphing Ball on the other side.

    Also, if you're having keyboard issues due to its limitations, try assigning movement keys far away from the action (A and B) keys.

    And don't double/bump post. That won't help you get our attention, but the opposite.
