Internet Graphics missing (Windows 7 OS)

I am using a newer Hewlett Packard computer with Windows 7 pre-loaded.Specs are AMD Atholon II X4 620 processor 2.60 GHz. RAM is 6.00 GIGS 5.75 Usable. 64-bit Operating System. 4.3 experience rating. When using the Internet I have noticed that some graphics on web pages are missing. Also some graphics on menus in Windows 7 are missing.Internet pages look very plain in comparison to ones viewed on an XP machine. I am guessing someone might have gone in and deleted some files that need to run in order to show these graphics and links. The links online are just invisible to the eye. They are still there. This computer is not mine, so I am kinda glad it is not. Very nice rig none the less. Some advice, and or solutions to this problem will be greatly appreciated.

You need to install Flash.

I installed the latest version of Flash, and Java.

I figured out the problem. Well you have to change the theme settings. They do not come ready out of the box. Thanks guys.
