The Free LucidLink WiFi Client makes it easy to connect to WiFi networks, automatically detects the required WiFi security settings, and warns you about insecure or dangerous networks.

Seems quite handy for connecting to unknown networks.. (will it stop others though from connecting to a certain Wifi stream?)

Doubt it, as its a client-side software.

Blocking access is the job of the Router / Access Point.

Most routers these days seem to be coming with more common features, such as MAC Address white/blacklists. Which is the only real way you're gonna secure a wireless network from getting jacked by neighbors, etc.
