Default ePSXe Disc reading and PCSX2(Slow)

    ePSXe emulator 1.7.0
For some reason Every time i try to play a game It gives me just a black screen Im using my cdrom d drive to try to play Final Fantasy 8 it has a black bottom but I dont even think my computer can read it. I have yet to try ISO files though I will try PSX iso files next.

    ePSXe Configuration
    Bios: scph1001
    Video: Petes OpenGL Driver 1.77
    Sound: ePSXe SPU core 1.7.0.
CDROM: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2k core 1.7.0.

    PCSX2
I have it working it runs all ps2 games however the frames per second is very very slow. Also the sound is distorted and slow. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

    PCSX2 Configuration
    Graphics: Gsdx 890 (msvc 15.00 SSE2) 0.1.14
    Sound: SPU2-x 1.1.0
First Controller: SSSPSX PAD plugin pressure mod 1.7.0
Cdvdrom: P.E.Op.S. CDVD (CDDA mod) 1.3.0
    Dev9: Dev9null Driver 0.3.0
    USB: USBnull driver 0.5.0.
    Firewire: FWnull driver 0.4.0
    Bios: Japan v01.00(17/01/2000) console

    My Specs
    Vista
    Amd Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10ghz
    2gb ram
    NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE

I just took out my 8500 gt 512mb nvidia geforce because it was becoming defective. I'm not even sure what my video memory is now that i have a 6150se. Also when I took it out I went from Hardware Graphics card to Software Graphics card. Is it possible to run Both PSX / PS2 emulator on a Software Graphics card?

I'm thinking about buying a new graphics card to help out with everything I'm thinking about a hardware one something high end like nvidia geforce 9000. What would be a good graphics card that would support ePSXe and PCSX2?

Any help would be Fantastic thanks!!!

Nevermind i have My ePSXe Running Properly no issues what so ever. Except I cant minimize ePSXe because it wont let me maximize it again. But other than that its all good.

As for PCSX2 the problem still remains It has speed issue where its very slow and sound crackles.

Does anyone know where I can find the system requirements for PCSX2? I found one on this page but im not sure its reliable...

Anyway I have a really bad graphics card and I'm going shopping for one soon I was wondering what would be an ideal graphics card for PCSX2. I was thinking about nvidia geforce 8700 or above. Can someone tell me what graphics card of theirs works on PCSX2.
