I dont understand
I don't usually do these things but I decided to check it out.
So I sign up using the link above which, of course, is a referral link.
As I check out these "free trial offers" I find that most are not completely free. Also from what I understand you cannot cancel right away. For example:
Blockbuster Video--->"To receive credit you must register, select movies and remain an active member during the 2 week trial. Upon completion of the 2 week trial, you will receive credit"
USA Today---> "Order any subscription to the USA TODAY! You will receive credit within 2-3 days. "
And you also have to have 5 friends actually sign up for the offer. This is the notice I get when I check the status page:
||Referral Status:
You have not completed your requirements.
Click here to refer five (5) friends to be eligible to receive your free iPod.*
* Your referrals must sign up and complete one offer. ||
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, only that it's not as simple as it may sound.
Now in the old days this thread would be gone in a sec, and so would be the user (banned)...
Guess times have changed. BUT... the referral link is gone. I won't help him succeed in this scam.
GHDpro is here
i remember this thingy from some other forums ~_~ i'll sign up but doesn't ship to australia apparently
Any peeps got Animal Crossing?
The thread remains open as a "trial" basis. If people start using it for spamming purposes it will be gone.

If you try to scam them with multiple emails, they usually find out.

And then complete five offers with all five accounts?
Even the ancestory.com--I am not signing up for anything that needs credit card information for a free trial.

You can use mine if you want. PM or e-mail me if you're still interested.Shipping it back to Australia shouldn't be more than 10-15 dollars.Originally Posted by Edea,Oct 25 2004, 07:23 PM
