epsxe 1.7 wont run bios

i'm using epsxe 1.7 and everything works fine I can play any game but when I click the run bios button I get an error message and the program shuts down.

I tried to run the bios in 1.6 and 1.52 and both of them work fine. I only get an error in 1.7

I'm currently using bios scph101 I also tried allot of other bios files , it makes no difference.

my drivers are
peops soft driver 1.18
eternal spu plugin lite 1.41
mooby2 cd disk image driver 2.8

my laptop runs under Windows XP

Any ideas why the bios won't run?

Try another cd plugin! If not work download a new bios
