Full-screening 1964 on a secondary monitor

i'm currently using the 1964 emulator, and recently bought an adapter to hook my tv up to my computer as a second monitor. when i drag most programs and applications into the secondary monitor, they full screen on it without any fuss, but 1964 will only full screen on my primary monitor, regardless of where i drag it.
does anyone know how to rectify this without changing the tv to my primary monitor? it's just kind of a pain.

ok, so i set my tv to my main desktop, but it wouldnt work when i did that either, even when i set the tv resolution to the same as my laptop monitor. i guess this is a display problem. anyone know what i should do, or where i should look for answers?
