Unhappy Trying to convert save files from PC to my Mac

Hey guys. I've been playing my emulators on my PC for the longest time and some of my fav game saves are on it, but im moving for the summer and i can only take my macbook with me... is there any way i can play the saves on my mac? I tried transferring them via thumb drive, but it wont let me play them. ERR msg reads :

    "????????" [Bad checksum] LoROM, corrupt, Type: ROM+RAM+BAT+SuperFX, Mode: ee, TV: PAL, S-RAM: 32kb, ROMId: ???? Company: 18 CR3C2: D9DD6F48

Im opening a .oops file... i dont know why it says that. The files i have are .oops(which looks like a save file) .srm(which is gray and wont let me open it) and the actual game which is .smc. Thanks for the help guys. I really want to keep my game saves!
