FF8 Flicker/No Command Bar

ePSXe, Pete's OpenGL 1 gives no command bar, OpenGL 2 gives a flickering command bar and picture. Everything else is OK. How can I fix this?

NVIDIA GeForce 7300
2.19 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM

Have you tried using a different graphics plugin for the ePSXe?
