    Default 1964 video problem

I don't know if someone already asked this and i searched for it but i found nothing. so here i go, i try to play super mario 64 and the status says its playable so when i click on it, it starts loading the game and this error comes up. No hardware-accelerated Direct3d devices were found. Then it switches to a reference rasterizer and it even tells me its going to go slow, so i hit ok and i can hear the music(which is skipping) but there is just a black screen. so i go to run and type dxdiag and go under the tap display and it says Direct3d functionally not available. you should verify that the driver is the final verison from the hardware manufacturer and im stuck here can someone help me out PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have tried project 64 v1.6 before that has given me worser problems then what i am telling you, in the plugin file of project 64 it says i have all the plugins like jacobs graphic plugin and all that good stuff but when i try to play a game on it like 7 errors come up and tell me that im mising a graphic, audio and that other plugin and the screen comes up that shows me what plugins are being used and there all blank and i hit to see which ones i could use none show up, so i said screw project 64 thats not going to work so i switched to 1964 and that one has just one error, the one i have just told u about so if you could help me with that problem that would be great, and thanks for answering, i thought none would try to help me
