New To MAME

I am new to MAME and don't know much about it. I am interested in finding and playing 80's arcade games. Phoenix and Pleiads are the two I am most interested in. Can anyone help me.

Check out easyEmu's tutorial on MAME. We can't help you get the games, use Google for that.

Can be tricky working with DOS if you aren't already familiar with it. Helps to Google DOS commands if you don't know some basic ones. There is also MAME GUI which is simplier. Also there is a version that works with Xpadder if you need that.
