Getting games to run on Chankast

Hi...

I recently downloaded chankast and the dc bios files, in the hope that i could resurrect some of my old dc games. (i own a dc but its busted)

after configging the controls and eventually finding the bios binary for it, i managed to get the main dc boot screen working. however when i have a game disk in my dvd drive, it says please insert a game disk (i have made sure the correct drive is selected).

ive also tried dumping the disk to an image file, but was pretty sure it wouldnt work when i saw it was only 14mb - and it didnt

how do i get it to work?!

EDIT: bah found out why. damn GD-ROMS.

pc cannot read the discs... you need an image which you mount to a virtual drive
