I just saw this movie recently, and I have to say, it's one of the better movies I saw.
The acting is great and seems very realistic and natural. (the car dealer is hilarious to watch, how he responds to stressfull situations)
The story is pretty good but nothing spectacular.
The settings also seem very normal, and there's almost no "over the top" hollywood moments. I don't really know what it is about this movie but I really enjoyed it. Anyone else seen it? :blink:

Yeah, I loved it, though I like The Big Lebowski and Miller's Crossing better (two other films by the Coen brothers).

I thought it was more of a bastard-ish decision to say it was based on a "true story". Gimmick or not

It was a great movie though, especially when Willis's character is shoving his friend through the wood cutter.

i liked it a lot more than the big lebowski

Commercials. I can't figure out whether "x = (George Clooney) + (Coen Brothers) - (Catherine Zeta-Jones)" yields a negative or positive value for x. I know the absolute value is very small.

Great scene, if you like dark humour check out "Harold and Maude".

This is a pretty good description, quote from Amazon user:

I also like the scene where Marcy (not positive of her name) is looking in the snow and bending over, it goes like this:

Police Partner: You see something down there Marcy?
Marcy: No, I just think I'm gonna barf.

The way she said it was great.

Also a great scence, when the salesman (main character) is staying in the motel, and when he hears a knock on the door he trys to stall so he can escape through the window. Very funny.


OTHER GOOD FILMS: Rushmore.
