Thousand Arms problem(no subs)

Can someone please help me? When i try playing Thousand Arms in EPSXE, the game works just fine but there are no subs/ dialogue. the dialogue box is just empty but the game just goes on.

BTW there are 3 files, the IMG file, the CCD file and the SUB file. do i need some kind of plug-ins to make the subs work? I tried running the SUB file but it doesn't work. thanks in advance

Sounds like either a bad image, or the game isn't emulated properly, or some other setting isn't right.. Couldn't tell you which.. CCD/IMG/SUB pairs, are from CloneCD.. a CCD is a cue file, IMG is the game disc, and SUB has nothing to do with the game text, it's a rip of the CD's sub-channel data, which sometimes is needed and other times isn't.

Thank you very much. I guess I'll try backing it up again/ just borrow my classmate's copy. but in case a bad image isn't the problem/ I just need another plug-in/etc, please tell thanks
