NO$gba Emulator crashes when trying to connect to the trade center! Help

So here is my situation in detail:

- I start up NO$gba and load my Pokemon Fire Red saved file "SAV" and than right click and press "link" which opens the second screen, i than load my 2nd save file "SV2". That all works smoothly, until the part where i try to access the trade center in both screens.
It sais: "The Rom-Image has crashed." and everything closes down!

-I have seriously spent like 6 Hrs looking for a answer with no luck! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
